DIY Flea Elimination Kit

Using PT Alpine Flea & Bed Bug, Bifen I/T, Precor IGR, and Petcor 2

Targets: Fleas, Flea Larvae, and Eggs – Indoors & Outdoors


Step 1: Indoor Knockdown – PT Alpine Flea & Bed Bug

How to Use:

  • Shake well before using.

  • Treat: Carpets, rugs, furniture, pet bedding, and resting areas.

  • Technique: Hold the can 36 inches away and spray in a slow, sweeping motion.

  • Coverage: Each 14 oz can treats up to 1,838 sq. ft..

  • Speed: One 10-second spray covers approximately 80–100 sq. ft..

Important Notes:

  • Vacuum: Vacuum thoroughly before treatment and after treatment dries.

  • Safety: Cover fish tanks and remove birds before spraying.

  • Wait: Do NOT allow people or pets in treated areas until fully dry.

  • Furniture: Spray under furniture cushions and in cracks where fleas hide.

  • Long-Term: Stops re-infestation for up to 7 months.


Step 2: Baseboard & Yard Treatment – Bifen I/T + Precor IGR

Day 1: Kill It Where It Starts – Outside First

  • Mix: Combine 2 oz of Bifen I/T + 1 full (1 oz) bottle of Precor IGR with 1 gallon of water in a pump sprayer.

  • Coverage: This mix covers up to 1,500 sq. ft..

Start Outside (The Source):

  • Focus on Flea Zones:

    • Shaded areas where pets lay, sleep, or defecate.

    • Around kennels, patios, trees, fences, sheds, and porches.

    • Mulch beds, under decks, and fence lines.

  • Application: Soak these areas to penetrate the soil where larvae live.

Then Move Inside:

  • Spray: All baseboards, closets, corners, and entryways.

  • Kitchen: Treat under kick plates and behind the fridge, dishwasher, and stove.

  • Garage: Spray garage floors and baseboards.


Step 3: The Follow-Up (Day 7 & Day 14)

Inside and Outside Perimeter Maintenance

  • Mix: 1 oz of Bifen I/T per gallon of water (NO IGR needed).

  • Apply: Spray all previously treated areas again, inside and out.

  • Goal: Maintain the coverage to wipe out any fleas that hatch or survive.


Step 4: Don’t Forget the Pets! – Treat with Petcor 2

Use Petcor 2 Flea Spray Killing fleas in the house and yard won’t work if your pets are still carrying them. Use Petcor 2 for fast, on-pet control that knocks down adults and stops the life cycle.

  • Safe: For dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens.

  • Total Control: Controls fleas, ticks, and lice.

  • Formula: Light, non-oily formula containing S-Methoprene to stop eggs and larvae.

  • Timing: Apply on the same day you treat your home and yard for best results.
