DIY 2-1-8 is a low-nitrogen, high-potassium granular lawn recovery fertilizer designed for thin, stressed, heat-damaged and recovering Florida lawns.

This formula provides light nitrogen for controlled recovery while supplying potassium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, calcium and essential micronutrients for stronger roots, improved color and better stress tolerance.

Application Rates

For most lawn-recovery programs, begin with 12.5 pounds per 1,000 square feet unless Chris recommends a different rate.

Spreader settings are starting points. Walking speed, equipment condition and individual spreaders can affect the actual output.

How to Apply

• Apply evenly over a dry lawn
• Avoid heavy overlapping
• Sweep fertilizer from driveways, sidewalks and streets before watering
• Wear a dust mask and safety glasses while spreading
• Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches
• Do not apply when heavy rain is expected
• Keep people and pets away during application
