Extinguish Plus is a dual-action fire ant bait formulated with hydramethylnon and (S)-methoprene for effective colony elimination. Its delayed-action insecticide and insect growth regulator disrupt the ant’s life cycle, ensuring long-lasting control.
Timing:
Apply when ants are actively foraging, ideally in the early morning or late afternoon when soil temperatures exceed 60°F. Monitor weather conditions and avoid application if rain is expected within 6 hours.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Adhere to label requirements and wear appropriate PPE, including long-sleeved shirt, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves, shoes, and socks.
Individual Mound Treatment
Target: Isolated fire ant mounds.
Rate: 2-5 tablespoons per mound, evenly distributed in a 12-18 inch diameter circle around the mound.
Caution: Do not disturb the mound.
